Here is a simple circuit to turn ON an LED.
Components used:
- Microcontroller - ItsyBitsy M4
- LED - yellow
- Resistor - 100 ohm
Lessons learned:
LEDs are diodes allowing current to flow in only one direction. I have put circuits together in the past. However, I have limited practice characterizing them. For this assignment, I developed I-V curves to model the linear characteristics of the resistor and current-voltage curves to model the more complicated non-linear behaviours of the diode. These results are shown below (coming soon…).
